Tri‑Ace has dropped a paid DLC remaster of its turn‑based JRPG Resonance of Fate (known in Japan as End of Eternity) for PC and PlayStation 5. Activation requires ownership of the Resonance of Fate / End of Eternity 4K / HD Edition released in 2018.
The Enhanced Remaster pack brings two core upgrades: character, environment and object textures are now rendered in 4K quality, and a built‑in speed‑up feature lets players breeze through the story at double speed without sacrificing gameplay depth.
The original title launched in 2010 and stumbled commercially, its Western release colliding with the debut of Final Fantasy XIII. Set in a post‑apocalyptic megastructure where a machine called “Basel” dictates human fate, the plot follows mercenaries Liann, Zephir and Vashiron as they uncover the tower’s secrets and rebel against the system. With the new visual polish and accelerated mode, veterans can finally experience this bleak world the way it was meant to be played.
