FromSoftware has officially announced that the launch of its upcoming multiplayer action game The Duskbloods will be delayed until 2027. The title was originally slated for a late‑2026 release and will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2 console.

The decision follows the results of an August network test that revealed server crashes, performance issues, and widespread criticism of the PvP balance. The development team will use the extra time to overhaul core mechanics, fine‑tune match rules, and meticulously balance character roles.
