The Verge journalist Tom Warren revealed that Xbox is gearing up to announce the complete title of The Elder Scrolls VI this November. He notes that Bethesda has been holding closed‑door RPG showcases lately, and the upcoming reveal will likely focus on confirming the subtitle “Sentinel.”
The game is expected to take place in the Hammerfell province, where players will chase ancient scrolls and explore the mysterious city of Sentinel. The storyline appears set to revolve around uncovering artifacts that could reshape the region’s history.
Back in August, Xbox head Asha Sharma hinted that the subtitle of The Elder Scrolls VI contains eight characters. “Sentinel” fits that clue perfectly and aligns with the existing city of the same name in Hammerfell, making the rumor highly credible. Fans are now bracing for the official announcement, which could steer the franchise in a fresh direction.
