After more than eight years of speculation, The Verge journalist Tom Warren finally disclosed the full title of Bethesda’s upcoming project: The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel. The news comes from insiders close to the studio, and an official announcement is slated for November, coinciding with the 15th anniversary of Skyrim.

Recent gameplay footage has already surfaced, featuring characters such as Ash Sharme, giving fans a first look at the world. The new installment will take players to the desert province of Hammerfell, marking the series’ first dedicated foray into this region.

Sentinel will also center on the lore of the Ancient Scrolls and the mysteries surrounding those artifacts, promising a fresh narrative angle. While a concrete release date remains unconfirmed, anticipation is building as Bethesda prepares to reveal more details later this year.
