Alkimia Interactive has rolled out the inaugural content patch for Gothic 1 Remake, injecting the classic world with fresh tools for creativity and experimentation.

The star of the update is a full‑blown photo mode, letting players pose the Nameless One, tweak the time of day, control lighting sources and apply visual effects. The new "Marvin Mode" unlocks the developer console packed with cheats, a nod to longtime fans. Players can also shave the protagonist, tattoo him in Swamp Camp style, and fast‑forward time while he sits on a bench.

Beyond the new features, the patch bundles a slew of bug fixes and minor enhancements: crafted weapons now boast higher stats, a new underwater death animation has been added, and the game boasts more sound reactions. Gothic 1 Remake is available on PC (Steam, GOG), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series with full Russian localization.
