To celebrate the Halloween season, Hello Games released the free Forsaken update for the space sandbox No Man’s Sky. Players can now venture into the darkest corners of the galaxy, where abandoned frigates, outposts and dig sites hide rare "possessed" technologies and biological samples.
The harvested artifacts are tradable with mysterious collectors for exclusive gear: biomechanical modules for corvettes, the creepy Larva Tank helmet, and a living multitool weapon called the Grub Cannon. The patch also adds a suite of technical upgrades, including a radial weapon selection menu, a minimalist UI mode, online sharing of space bases, and a warp‑jump system that lets players hop to neighboring stars without the galactic map.
Additionally, the update marks the official launch of No Man’s Sky on Apple mobile devices. The game is now available on iPhone and iPad with touch controls, and its download size is roughly 4 GB, delivering the endless universe right to players’ pockets.
