With winter kicking in, Sony is set to host the annual PlayStation Partner Awards Japan Asia on December 3, marking the 32nd edition of the ceremony. This year seven award categories will be presented, featuring two brand‑new additions.

The Grand Award and Partner Award will honor the three top‑selling games from Japan and Asia between October 1 2025 and September 30 2026. New entries include the Support Award for outstanding post‑release updates and events, and the PlayStation 5 Pro Integration Award. An Accessibility Award recognizes titles optimized for players with disabilities, while the Indie Creators Award celebrates independent developers, with winners chosen by gamer votes. The User Choice category gathers votes for the most‑played titles in the same period, showcasing heavyweights like "Starfield," "Resident Evil Requiem," "Dragon Quest VII Reimagined," and many more.

Voting remains open until November 7 and covers Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. The ceremony will be held live with no online broadcast, promising a packed house of the region’s most influential partners and developers.
