The Russian subsidiary of Google, LLC "Google", has settled fines amounting to 16.8 billion rubles imposed by Russian courts on its parent company Google LLC. The information was disclosed by the company's bankruptcy trustee Valery Talyarovsky during a court session.

Out of more than 18.8 billion rubles that entered the bankruptcy estate, the Federal Bailiff Service seized 14.7 billion rubles from the company's account and recovered an additional over 2.1 billion rubles directly from debtors. The remaining funds were allocated to the Federal Tax Service and to cover outstanding wages for former office staff, with over 400 million rubles spent on salaries.

Russian courts continue to issue new penalties against Google LLC for failing to remove prohibited content and for non‑compliance with regulator orders, leaving the future of equipment upgrades and the company's operations in Russia uncertain.
