The Unchained Entertainment team has responded to community demand by officially announcing plans to bring mod support to Camelot Unchained. The first step arrives this week: a new command that lets the game read a customized user interface directly from a player’s local machine.
Later, an additional command will expose the data used by developers for UI elements and tooltips, enabling creators to build custom tools and utilities. Even players without deep programming skills will gain access to a portion of the official code, allowing them to tweak game components for personal projects. Full details and source files are slated for the studio’s GitHub page.
Developers stress that any modification that degrades the core experience or provides unfair advantages will be prohibited. In the long run, Unchained Entertainment aims to deliver more robust tools for sharing and downloading mods, building on a revamped UI framework originally designed with extensibility in mind.
