Croteam announced a price increase for The Talos Principle 2, lifting the Steam price from $29.99 to $39.99 and bumping the Russian Steam price to 1,550 RUB from 1,100 RUB. Console prices on PS5 and Xbox Series remain unchanged.

The studio’s statement blames an unfavourable economic climate and rising development and support costs driven by worldwide inflation. Croteam said the decision was hard, but it wanted to give players a clear reason rather than a surprise hike.

The price of the first game and its Reawakened edition stays the same. The Talos Principle 2 is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG) as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, with a full Russian translation. In May, Croteam also announced the saga’s finale, The Talos Principle 3, promising more brain‑twisting challenges ahead.
