Developers Chucklefish, together with studio Robotality, announced the official release date for Witchbrook—January 28, 2027. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, and will be included in Xbox Game Pass on launch day. Priced at $24.99, the date was revealed during the Nintendo Indie World stream, which also showcased a fresh gameplay trailer.

Witchbrook drops players into the bustling seaside town of Mossport, where they enroll in a witchcraft college. Coursework covers alchemy, astrology, tarot, rituals and other arcane subjects, complete with exams and the unlocking of new spells. Beyond classes, players tackle quests for locals, brew potions, explore the library, and enjoy side activities like insect catching, fishing, and birdwatching.

Free time brims with social options: friendships form, romances blossom with 11 distinct characters, a personal witch business can be launched, and clubs and seasonal events await participation. Players can outfit a forest cabin, tend a garden, and customize the heroine’s look. All content supports online co‑op for up to four players, making Witchbrook a perfect venue for shared magical adventures.
