Red Hook Studios, together with publisher Playdigious, have officially announced a mobile version of Darkest Dungeon 2. The port will launch on iOS and Android, slated for 2027, following the game's release on Nintendo Switch.

The sequel’s story once again thrusts players into a bleak carriage journey across a decaying world, aiming to reach the Mountain and stop an impending apocalypse. Turn‑based combat demands careful tactics against monsters in five terrifying regions, while managing heroes’ psychological states—stress, synergy, and internal conflicts—remains essential for survival.

The exact launch date and supported language list remain under wraps, but developers assure that the mobile adaptation will retain the original’s atmosphere and difficulty. The shift to touch controls is expected to attract a fresh audience eager to experience Darkest Dungeon’s darkness right from their pockets.
