On November 10, the Fractured Skies expansion launches in New Eden, kicking off two‑month empire campaigns for coveted Drifter artifacts. Four empires – Amarr, Minmatar, Caldari and Gallente – clash to secure ancient relics scattered by hyperspace turbulence.

Players can tackle four mission types: container hacking, NPC elimination, damage to enemy caps, and ore mining. Each completed task rewards faction items that can be turned in for ISK, loyalty points, Glamourex boosters, exclusive modules and rare apparel. From January 5 until the first “Conquest” in February, all ships operating in an empire’s systems receive temporary bonuses such as faster warp, stronger shields or increased damage.

The update also adds four new fleet battlecruisers (Naga Navy Issue, Tornado Fleet Issue, Oracle Navy Issue, Talos Navy Issue) and Synchronizer rigs – nine sets of modules that stack bonuses when multiple copies are fitted. Fractured Skies links EVE Online with EVE Vanguard, making ground combat a permanent facet of the faction war: Vanguard contracts boost the number of special anomalies in high‑ and low‑sec, and from February Vanguard pilots can join the space conflict directly. November brings Vanguard training, three new maps, the BR‑60 rifle and a paid Founder’s Access tier available via the launcher.
