The wiltOS Technologies team officially announced the launch of a Steam page for Dark Messiah of Might & Magic: Community Edition and dropped the first campaign trailer. Backed by Ubisoft, the project is gearing up for its long‑awaited release, now visible to the public marketplace.

Over more than two years, developers have reworked the original code using the Source 1 engine and NVIDIA RTX Remix tools. The update restores cut console content, retains multiplayer, adds cooperative play, and introduces Steam Workshop support for user‑made mods, bringing the classic action‑RPG up to modern hardware and graphics standards.

Players will be able to enjoy the revamped version until the end of 2026, provided they own the original Arkane Studios edition on their account. With Ubisoft and Valve backing the project, a broad audience can dive in, and the community is already poised to enrich the game with new mods and co‑op adventures.
