Pearl Abyss has revealed the precise schedule for the first major DLC of Crimson Desert – “Charting the Unknown”. The release is slated for October 30, 2026 at 10:00 Moscow time, with PlayStation 5 owners gaining pre‑load access 24 hours beforehand.

An essential patch for the base game will drop alongside the DLC, without which the new content remains inaccessible. “Charting the Unknown” continues the story arcs of three protagonists – Cliff, Unki and Damiana – and introduces seafaring, ship customization, underwater exploration, detailed house building, romances with various NPCs, and a host of other fresh mechanics.

Crimson Desert is already available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series with full Russian localization, and a Nintendo Switch 2 version is slated for the future. The expansion promises to broaden the open world and draw both veterans and newcomers into its fantasy realm.
