The developers announced that Darkest Dungeon II, already a hit on PC, consoles, and Nintendo Switch, will receive official iOS and Android versions in 2027. The mobile ports will be handled by publisher Playdigious, known for successfully adapting several titles for smartphones.

The original Darkest Dungeon has been available on tablets for years, but a full-featured mobile release was pending. Now the sequel, which tasks players with assembling a doomed team of heroes, managing their stress levels, and making tough choices, is gearing up for launch on the most popular mobile platforms. Currently, the game is available on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, complete with a Russian translation.

The arrival of Darkest Dungeon II on smartphones will bring the dark tactical roguelike genre to a broader audience, allowing gamers to dive into its bleak atmosphere without a stationary console. The mobile release is expected to attract new fans and let series veterans enjoy the game anywhere.
