The indie studio Lavapotion announced that its debut title Songs of Conquest has crossed the 800,000‑copy mark on Steam. After 3.5 years of development — from early access in May 2022 to the full launch in 2024 — the game has outpaced every expectation.

To celebrate, the team rolled out an 80% discount on Steam and teamed up with Unfrozen to bundle Songs of Conquest with Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era. Developers highlighted their admiration for the classic series, noting that several of its elements echo in their own creation.

Songs of Conquest is now playable on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, both Switch versions, as well as iOS and Android, complete with Russian subtitles. On November 5, Lavapotion will drop Wielders of the Essence, a Vampire Survivors‑style title that promises to expand the universe further.
