At 10:00 today, the Honkai: Star Rail team officially introduced a brand‑new character – Astra Yao, a charismatic singer from New Eridu, who will join the game as part of a collaboration with Zenless Zone Zero.

Astra Yao is a limited‑edition quantum‑type character walking the Path of Harmony. She claims her music can "fill the stars, dim the lights, and pierce the sky," embodying a carefree glide over a utopian horizon. In‑game she will serve as a unique combatant, with her battle style and abilities still under wraps.

Further details on Astra Yao’s gameplay mechanics are slated for the upcoming version 4.7 livestream, which promises to reveal how her quantum powers integrate into the current meta.
